What can I expect when I visit your church?
We hope you find a warm and welcoming place where you can worship God and join a community of believers to grow your faith and knowledge in Him. Here’s what you can expect from a typical service…
-
- Greeting: You’ll be greeted at the door and provided a bulletin of the service
- Seating: We have pew seating and you can sit anywhere you like as there are no reserved seats
- Service:
- We begin with 30 minutes of musical worship, announcements and prayer, followed by the pastor’s message
- Our song service is primarily from The Celebration Hymnal, with periodic inserts provided for other songs
- We read from the King James Version Bible and you can find a copy in each pew
- Intermission: We have a 15-minute intermission between the church service and Sunday School for the congregation to visit
- Sunday School: Classes are provided for all ages, with the kids and teens heading downstairs and adults remaining in the sanctuary for class
- What to Wear: It’s not what’s on the outside that counts, but rather the inside. You’ll find worshippers dressed from casual to dressy on any given Sunday.
- Offering: An offering box has been provided at the back of the sanctuary for those interested in giving. No envelope is needed for general fund giving. Missionary Fund envelopes are available for directing donations to the Missionary Group which helps local individuals and organizations.
